The Studio

Evie Pace Garden Design is a small design studio based between Frome and Bruton. Evie specialises in working with creative home-owners in Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset.

Evie set the studio up in early 2023, after years honing her skills as a horticulturist, and was delighted to win Best Countryside Border at the one of the UK's top flower shows, Belvoir Castle Flower and Garden Show, that same year.

Meet Evie

My garden has always been a very meaningful part of my life, and I also get so much pleasure from seeing how much my clients’ new dream gardens enhances their lives. Gardening sustainably and in a way that is positive for wildlife runs through everything I do.

What I bring differently when transforming your garden into a beautiful haven:

I’m known for my clients’ challenges and aspirations feeling heard, and love to explore with you what you need both practically and emotionally from your outdoor spaces.
As an award-winning garden designer I bring recognised expertise in beautiful, seasonally-interesting naturalistic planting.
I take a creative, calm and constructive approach to project monitoring, and enjoy guiding my clients’ journey from our first ‘ideas’ chat to the garden you dream of.
My background in still-life photography and wildlife film-making brings a creative eye to my designs and an integral sense of composition, colour and light.
Training in horticulture (Capel Manor) as well as garden design (KLC) informs my nature-inspired designs, as well as my ongoing study of climate change-resilient planting (gardens which can thrive despite the unpredictable weather patterns we face).
I work with caring and considered, expert professional landscapers, who ensure the garden is built to specified plans, thus reducing risk of overspend. By choosing a professional landscaper, this also means no funds are unnecessarily spent remedying situations created by less skilled, or non-expert providers.
Member of the Society of Garden Designers (SGD). The SGD is the only professional association for garden designers. Since 1981, the SGD have been championing excellence in garden design, and supporting Members to train, work, develop and continually maintain the highest standards.
